Return & Refund Policy We want you to love your ZHUYUN qipao. Each piece is handmade by artisans, representing over one hundred hours of craft. Please read our policy carefully before placing your order. --- **1. Standard Ready-to-Wear Items** Ready-to-wear items may be returned within **30 days** of delivery, subject to **all** of the following conditions: 1. **Return Authorization Required.** You must email hello@zhuyunqipao.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping anything back. Unauthorized returns will be refused and no refund will be issued. 2. **Condition.** The item must be unworn, unwashed, free of perfume, odors, or stains. The **original security tag must remain intact and attached.** Items with removed or damaged tags will not be accepted. 3. **Original Packaging.** The item must be returned in its original gift box. Returns missing original packaging will be rejected. 4. **Defect Claims — 48-Hour Window.** If you believe the item has a manufacturing defect, you must notify us within **48 hours** of delivery with clear photographs (full garment + close-up of the issue + tag visible). Claims made after 48 hours will not be accepted. If all conditions are met: - Refunds are issued to the original payment method within **7 business days** after we receive and inspect the return. - **Return shipping is the customer"s responsibility.** Original shipping fees and paid duties are non-refundable. - If inspection reveals signs of wear, stains, perfume, or odors, we reserve the right to refuse the refund and return the item at your expense. --- **2. Custom / Bespoke Orders** Custom qipao dresses are made to your individual measurements and design specifications. **Custom orders are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.** - Sizing: We provide detailed bilingual measurement guides and video tutorials. If the item does not fit due to incorrect measurements provided by you, you bear full responsibility. - Workmanship Defects: If a flaw results from our workmanship, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will repair or remake the item at no charge. - **The return rate on custom orders is zero.** Please verify your measurements before placing your order. --- **3. Important Note About Handmade Qipao** Every ZHUYUN qipao is made by hand. The following are characteristics of handcraft and are **not considered defects** and do **not** qualify as reasons for return: - Slight variations in embroidery density and stitch placement - Differences in silk luster under different lighting conditions - Subtle variations in hand-painted dye intensity - Minor differences in the size and curve of handmade knot buttons These are not flaws. They are the fingerprints of handcraft. If you require machine-perfect uniformity, our products may not be the right fit for you. --- **4. Refund Process** 1. Email hello@zhuyunqipao.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos of the item. 2. We will respond within **1-2 business days** to confirm eligibility and issue an RMA number. 3. Ship the item back within **7 days** of receiving your RMA, and share the tracking number with us. 4. Upon receipt and passing inspection, your refund will be processed within 7 business days. --- **5. Duties & Import Taxes** We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). The price you pay at checkout includes all duties and taxes. You will not be charged additional fees at delivery. Paid duties are non-refundable on returns. --- **6. Disputes** If you disagree with a return decision, contact us within 14 days. We will review each case fairly. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled per the governing law clause in our Terms of Service.
